Shabbat Afternoon Hike

Join us for our first Shabbat Hike of 2024! We’ll spend our Shabbat afternoon walking and meeting new friends, while exploring the Sope Creek Trail system and the Cross Creek Mills Ruins. We will close our time together with Havdalah, Shabbat’s closing ritual.

Exact location shared upon registration. We will gather at 2pm and start our hike at 2:15pm. We plan to hike for 2.5 hours and will end with Havdalah close to 5pm.

Mileage/Elevation: ~4.8 miles round trip, elevation gain of 420 feet. This route is a loop hike, and is rated as easy to fairly vigorous.

This hike is best suited for adults with previous hiking experience. We will take 1-2 breaks over the course of the hike.

We may be walking the last quarter mile in twilight, so bring a headlamp or lantern if you can. Dress warmly, bring water/a snack, and wear good outdoor shoes!
