  • In 2020, Ma’alot was born — a new kind of Jewish spiritual community in Atlanta, designed to complement our city’s vibrant ecosystem while reaching those who hadn’t yet found a spiritual home. We began with a simple invitation: to gather across difference and rediscover what Jewish life could feel like when it’s rooted in belonging, reflection, and care.

    Ma’alot has always been built by and for a wide circle of seekers — diverse individuals and interfaith families, kids and adults of all ages, queer and trans people, Jews of color and white Jews, religious and secular Jews, and anyone — Jewish or not— drawn to exploring Jewish wisdom, music, and nature.

    Now Ma’alot is becoming a spiritual wellness community that offers Wisdom Circles, Shabbat gatherings, and retreats for renewal.
