In 2020, Ma’alot was born—a new kind of Jewish spiritual community in Atlanta, designed to complement our city’s vibrant ecosystem while reaching those who hadn’t yet found a spiritual home. We began with a simple invitation: to gather across difference and rediscover what Jewish life could feel like when it’s rooted in belonging, reflection, and care.
Ma’alot has always been built by and for a wide circle of seekers—diverse individuals and interfaith families, kids and adults of all ages, queer and trans people, Jews of color and white Jews, religious and secular Jews, and anyone—Jewish or not—drawn to exploring Jewish wisdom, music, and nature.
Now Ma’alot is becoming a spiritual wellness community that offers Wisdom Circles, Shabbat gatherings, and retreats for renewal.
