We are thrilled to launch Gather in the Garden - a joyful, musical, and nature-based Shabbat series for all ages at the beautiful Oakhurst Gardens Wylde Center! Join us for our first gathering on Saturday, July 12 at 9:30 AM.

This Saturday Morning Service will include our first-ever Service— Torah-drama: a theatrical, interactive encounter with Torah where you step into the story and are a part of re-creating the Torah portion, while the Torah portion is being read from the Torah.

We’ll begin together in circle with breath, prayer, and movement, then move into age-specific breakouts, with meaningful Jewish text study and thoughtful conversation with Rabbi Ariel. During Adult text study, kids will enjoy interactive Shabbat fun through movement, nature play, and music with our warm-hearted educators. We will then step into a dynamic Torah-drama and embody the story from the inside out. After the experience, we’ll come together for a community potluck lunch in the Wylde Center’s brand-new Gathering Room.

Flow of the service:

• 8:45–9:15am – Setup (volunteers welcome!)

• 9:30–10:15am – Musical Family Shabbat Service

• 10:15–11:30am – Age-Based Breakouts or Bibliodrama Rehearsal

• 11:30am–12:15pm – Bibliodrama Torah Service

• 12:15–12:30pm – Kiddush & Room Turnover

• 12:30–1:15pm – Lunch

• 1:10–1:30pm – Clean-Up
