Maqom Meditation

Find space to breath, meditate and connect with Rabbis Ariel Root Wolpe and Josh Lesser.

Maqom Meditation meets virtually on the first and third Sundays of the month from 8:00-9:00pm. Together we explore mindfulness practice through a Jewish lens and prepare for the week ahead.

This is a community led, Jewish meditation group. After you have attended a session you can offer to lead meditation or mindful movement. The format is:

  • Welcome prayer song

  • Check ins

  • Teaching

  • Meditation (25-30 minutes)

  • Reflections and Share

  • Closing Prayer (spontaneous community offering)
