High Holidays & Sukkot
with Ma’alot
Open Doors, Open Hearts. Everyone Belongs.
Join Rabbi Ariel Root Wolpe for a musical and meaningful journey through the High Holidays.
Rosh Hashanah service on night two will be held on the surface of Arabia Mountain after a communal hike. Kol Nidre and our Mindful Yom Kippur morning service will be held at the Solarium. Finally, we will hold a Break Fast + Havdalah at a community member's home in Kirkwood.

Rosh Hashanah
Kid's’ Hike
Ma'alot will offer a kids' program during the Rosh Hashanah Hike at Arabia Mountain, from 6:00–7:00 pm, for children ages 3–12. This is programming, not childcare — we ask that you remain available to support your child if needed. Snacks will be served.
Schedule
Kids will group off at 6:00 pm
Pickup is at 7:00 pm at the mountaintop meeting point
Note: The hike is less than two miles and includes a 30 minute uphill walk over dirt and rock.
Yom Kippur
Kol Nidre
Ma'alot offers kids' programming and childcare at Kol Nidre this year, geared toward children ages 3–12. Snacks will be served during the program. For children under 3, please be available to support them during the program — our childcare team isn't able to assist with diaper changes.
Schedule
Childcare availability: 7:00–9:00 pm
Kids' program: 7:30–8:30 pm
Note: While there is no separate kids' program at Havdalah + Break Fast; that event is family friendly.
Sukkot
All events will take place at the Wylde Center, where our sukkah will be built. Community members are welcome to enjoy the sukkah independently when events are not taking place.
